Professional sprint / forest maps

I make high-quality orienteering maps for clubs, events and schools. Whether you need a forest or sprint map, for a serious event or local training I can help.

All maps are made according to the appropriate specification, ISOM 2017-2 for forest maps and ISSprOM 2019-2 for sprint maps.
Modern mapping standards are followed, making use of LiDAR data where possible, and applying reliable fieldwork and an appropriate level of generalisation to end up with an accurate, clean and legible map.

Schools maps

Custom maps for schools and educational environments are ideal for children to discover and practice orienteering in physical education classes, outdoor activity centers and other youth programs. With a custom map of your school/center you can easily begin to practice orienteering with your students without needing transport, etc.

Depending on the area, these maps are usually made according to a special specification created for schools maps and other maps at large scales.

Course planning

I have many years of experience planning courses for large events and trainings. Good course planning takes time and intent to make courses interesting, challenging and appropriate for the desired level.

Organized trainings / activities

On a more general front, I can organize any other type of activity related to orienteering or navigation. Whether that be an introductory class to the sport, a fully managed club training or instruction of basic navigation practices, we can tailor the appropriate activity to suit your needs.
